The intern will assist the account leader in creative initiatives and analyze market trends and data to support decision-making that drives positive outcomes. Additionally, this role fosters connections with the campus community through both digital platforms and live events.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Activation:

  • Collaborates with Field and Center Marketing partners to implement interactive marketing initiatives and promotional activities within budget constraints.
  • Works alongside the on-site management team to create effective marketing campaigns and communications that address essential campus community needs.
  • Coordinates the execution of social media strategies designed to engage and inform target audiences.
  • May develop both physical and digital marketing materials that align with brand guidelines to enhance campus and social media engagement.
  • Utilizes insights from industry trends and feedback to inform decisions that will lead to targeted results.
Community Engagement Support:
  • Acts as a liaison to various campus departments and organizations, assisting with feedback events to gather guest insights.
  • Contributes to the planning and execution of the account's involvement in campus and community events to raise awareness of dining programs and enhance brand perception.
  • Identifies and escalates client/account risks to the Manager while supporting mitigation strategies.
  • Assists the site leader with team member engagement activities that reflect guest engagement to bridge gaps.
Qualifications:
  • Current university student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail and a willingness to learn and apply new information.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Experience with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable with technology.
  • Outgoing, friendly personality with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively.
Work Schedule:

This role requires a commitment of hours per week, as agreed upon with the supervisor, spread over a minimum of two days. The schedule is flexible to accommodate academic commitments.
