About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior RF Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our RF Mechanical Team, you will be responsible for providing innovative design solutions for the packaging of antennas, RF Circuit Card Assemblies, radomes, and RF test equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead diverse multidiscipline teams to develop and implement design solutions for RF systems
  • Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure compliance with engineering standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish technology roadmaps and enable modernization
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans
  • Work with customer personnel and program leadership to define and refine requirements for hardware compliance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with design and analysis of RF products, including 3D CAD software and technical data packages
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Creo Simulate or ANSYS Workbench for preliminary structural and thermal analysis
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Experience as a Responsible Engineering Authority, Control Account Manager, or Integrated Product Team Lead
  • Supplier management experience for built-to-print or build-to-specification RF products
  • Experience creating and presenting professional-level design documentation
