Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Advanced Financial Portfolio Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing all phases of research award administration, including pre and post award.
Key Responsibilities- Grant Submission Budget Preparation: Collaborate with Grant Administrators, Principal Investigators, and other support staff to review/coordinate aspects of grant submission, provide guidance with budget and budget justification
- Active Grant Management: Perform financial analysis on a complex PI portfolio of accounts and provide guidance on strategic planning to maximize budget utilization in a fiscally responsible manner.
- Grant Close-Out: Partner with Purchasing, Accounts Payable, and other departments to ensure incurred expenses are liquidated timely for appropriate closeout of all expired projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, and at least 3 years of financial experience, including 1 year of extramural funding management experience.
