Job Overview

As a Logistics Operator, your primary responsibility will be to assemble pallets and efficiently load completed orders onto delivery vehicles while ensuring safety and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Retrieve products and construct orders based on Load Out documentation.
  • Utilize appropriate material handling equipment, including manual and powered pallet jacks.
  • Monitor product expiration dates and prioritize the use of older inventory.
  • Confirm the precision of assembled orders.
  • Wrap and prepare product orders for loading.
  • Unload trailers containing pallets or shells.
  • Comply with all safety regulations to maintain a secure and tidy work environment.
  • Ensure equipment is kept in optimal condition.
  • Complete daily inspection reports.
  • Support colleagues in their tasks as necessary to enhance workflow efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean workspace by disposing of waste, sweeping, and re-packaging products.
  • Participate in any required training sessions.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a warehouse setting is necessary.
  • Experience in a distribution environment is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license is advantageous.
  • Capability to lift 40 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds overhead frequently.
  • Occasional lifting of CO2 cylinders (up to 55 pounds) is required.
  • Frequent pushing and pulling of products is expected.
  • Must be able to walk or stand for at least 8 hours daily.
  • Willingness to obtain a forklift license and operate manual/powered pallet jacks.
  • Maintain a professional rapport with team members.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Ideal candidates will demonstrate dependability, integrity, attention to detail, self-motivation, excellent customer service skills, and initiative.
  • Must successfully pass background checks and drug testing as per company policy.
