About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Retention to lead our email, SMS, loyalty, and direct mail programs to drive customer loyalty, lifetime value, and churn prevention. This role will be responsible for activation across the customer data platform, campaign management, lifecycle and retention strategies, vendor relationships, and performance targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute retention marketing strategies to increase conversion, engagement, and customer lifetime value
- Lead our points-based loyalty program to grow member count, average transaction count, and lifetime value
- Build and optimize automated lifecycle journeys and one-off campaigns across email, SMS, loyalty, and direct mail
- Leverage multiple data sources to optimize personalization, segmentation, and audience strategies cross-channel
- Partner with data teams to drive customer-centric campaigns and first-party data collection and activations
- Manage channel acquisition strategies and campaigns to meet and/or exceed growth targets for list size and member count
- Plan budget, forecast, and track spend per channel, ensuring a balance between ROI and spend
- Develop promotional campaigns to increase AOV, reduce churn, and improve overall lifetime value
Requirements:
- 6+ years of related experience in CRM, loyalty, and email marketing
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field and/or experience working with consumer brands
- Experience working with ESP platforms, including Klaviyo and Wunderkind
- Experience with personalization platforms, such as Movable Ink
- Strong project management abilities, including experience with Basecamp and Asana
- Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills
- Strategic and financial capabilities, with a focus on data-led decisions
What We Offer:
We offer a competitive salary range of $130,000 - $145,000, depending on skills and experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401k Retirement Savings Plan. Employees are also eligible for short-term and long-term disability insurance, flexible spending accounts, and critical illness insurance.
