Executive Chef Associate

The Institute for Advanced Study seeks a highly skilled Sous Chef to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with culinary experience and strong leadership skills.
Estimated Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
About the RoleThis role involves working closely with the Chef to develop, prepare, and serve meals for the Institute Community and invited guests.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop, prepare, and serve meals in accordance with specific needs and within established time schedules.
- Manage inventory of food and paper goods, ensuring effective use of resources.
- Evaluate the quality and presentation of food being prepared by staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Assist the Chef with scheduling and managing staff, promoting a clean, pleasant, and sanitized work environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Culinary Arts degree from an accredited institution or equivalent work experience.
- At least five years of related work experience, preferably in a senior role.
- ServSafe certification.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
