Job Title: Ophthalmic Assistant - Dr. Brown

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmic Assistant to join our team at CEENTA. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide exceptional support to our physicians, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical and administrative support to our physicians, including preparing patients for exams, obtaining medical histories, and documenting patient information.
  • Assist with patient examinations, treatments, and in-office procedures, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
  • Perform administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, and responding to patient messages.
  • Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of experience as an ophthalmic assistant or in a related healthcare role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of an International Council of Accreditation (ICA) accredited clinical training program preferred.
  • Current Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or Certified Ophthalmic Technician (COT) certification from the IJCAHPO preferred.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required.
