Surgical Care Provider

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Care Provider to join our team at District Medical Group. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide high-quality patient care and teaching in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform history and physical examinations of patients
- Participate in hospital rounds and prepare documentation of daily progress notes
- Enter patient orders as directed
- Review and discuss results of medical imaging and laboratory studies with attending physician and patients
- Assist in staffing minor procedures and operative procedures in the main operating room
- Assist with hospital-based continuity of care and coordinate resident education
- Coordinate operative schedule for elective and emergent/urgent procedures
- Serve as a liaison with other services and answer pages and phone calls
