Post Surgical Unit Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Post Surgical Unit team at Arizona Specialty Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to post-surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
- 2 years clinical experience as an RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit preferred.
- Current Arizona RN License.
- Current BLS and ACLS.
- PALS recommended (not required).
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Good organization habits.
- Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
- Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit.
