Surgical Nurse Specialist

United Surgical Partners is seeking a skilled Surgical Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operating room staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate patient care in the operating room, ensuring timely and efficient transitions between procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct performance improvement audits and activities to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient outcomes.
- Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care.
- Participate in the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a hospital OR setting.
- Current Arizona Nursing License.
- Current CPR and ACLS certification.
