Restaurant General Manager

The Restaurant General Manager is the key leader responsible for the overall success of the restaurant. This role oversees the daily operations, ensuring profitability, guest satisfaction, and team performance. The RGM works closely with the District Manager and directly manages a team of Assistant Managers, Shift Coordinators, and Team Members.

Key Responsibilities:
Profitability: Manage the restaurant's P&L, driving sales and reducing costs to achieve desired financial outcomes.
Guest: Motivate team members to deliver exceptional guest service, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment. Address guest issues promptly and develop action plans to resolve problems.
People: Lead recruitment and selection, onboarding new team members, and inspiring the team through recognition programs. Provide coaching and feedback to improve team capabilities and performance.
Operations: Manage labor, enforce compliance with regulations, and maintain operational and brand standards. Perform duties of Assistant Manager and Hourly Shift Coordinator as needed.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED required, 2 years of college preferred.
1-2 years of previous restaurant management experience.
Strong understanding of P&L management and drivers of restaurant profitability.
Ability to prioritize work and time to meet deadlines and objectives.
Demonstrated leadership skills and understanding of guest service principles.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with flexibility to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed.
