Position Summary:
The selected individual will engage in repetitive tasks along an assembly line focused on the construction of metal fabrications. This role involves utilizing hands, tools, and machinery to assemble various sports equipment and athletic products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepares for assembly by reviewing instructions, blueprints, and parts lists; collects necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
- Positions components and subassemblies accurately by using templates or measuring tools.
- Assembles products by ensuring proper fit of connections; secures parts and subassemblies effectively.
- Adheres to standard operating procedures (SOPs) throughout the assembly process.
- Confirms specifications by measuring completed components to ensure quality standards.
- Maintains equipment functionality by performing preventive maintenance; follows manufacturer guidelines; troubleshoots issues; and requests repairs as needed.
- Ensures a safe and organized work environment by following established procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Secures equipment by turning it off and locking it when not in use.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in using a variety of hand and power tools for assembling aluminum, steel, and stainless steel products.
- Familiarity with safety protocols during assembly operations.
- Ability to interpret and understand diagrams or blueprints.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or weekends as necessary to fulfill customer demands.
Education Requirements:
A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. This position is entry-level, and the successful candidate will receive on-the-job training.
