Overview

Waterway Carwash is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sell car wash services, memberships, and additional purchase options to customers, achieving sales and revenue goals for the location.
  • Identify customer needs and present complimentary solutions, such as car washes and membership options.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment, ensuring a positive visit for every customer.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, such as making bank deposits, picking up or delivering supplies, and performing transactional functions to meet customer demand and store staffing needs.
Requirements
  • 6 months of work experience in customer service, retail, or sales is strongly preferred.
  • Current and valid driver's license.
  • Professional demeanor, behavior, and appearance in accordance with company policy.
  • Ability to perform all essential functions safely without endangering oneself or others.
  • Ability to comply with local/State health code requirements for soda fountain and food service/sales.
  • Meet local/State minimum age requirements for sale of tobacco and alcohol sales (where applicable).
Physical Requirements

Work Environment/Physical Demands:

  • May work primarily outdoors year-round, and be exposed to wide temperature variations, sunshine, wet weather (rain, snow), humidity, wet surfaces, gasoline and exhaust fumes, machinery and moving parts, and brief exposure to car wash tunnel noise.
  • Periods of extended standing, bending, lift and carry up to 50 pounds, drive vehicles, reach above and below shoulder level.
  • Complete tasks at a fast pace, sustain consistent physical effort, sustain continuous and prolonged standing and movement.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a guaranteed $17 per hour for the first 3 months, with average pay of $17 per hour after that (base + sales bonuses).
