About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at U-Haul. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their needs are met, and exceeding their expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist customers with U-Haul products and services, providing solutions to their needs and concerns.
  • Use technology to manage rentals and inventory, ensuring accurate and efficient processing.
  • Operate equipment, including trucks and trailers, to provide customers with a seamless experience.
  • Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Answer customer questions and provide education on U-Haul products and services.
  • Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns.
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring, and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Work Environment

The work environment involves moderate risks or discomforts, requiring special safety precautions. You may be required to use protective clothing or gear, such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields.

Physical Demands

The work requires some physical exertion, including long periods of standing, moving around indoors and outdoors, and positioning yourself to reach objects at varying heights. You may be required to move equipment weighing a minimum of 50 pounds, assisted or unassisted.
