Position Title: Billing Coordinator

Position Overview:

  • Oversee client invoicing and guarantee that billing processes are executed correctly
  • Examine and modify client statements as necessary
  • Manage the printing and distribution of claims
  • Digitally archive documents to patient accounts
  • Assess correspondence and conduct follow-ups as needed
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certification: CRCR (Mandatory within 6 months of employment)
  • 1-2 years of experience in hospital billing
  • Familiarity with hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations
  • Experience in insurance follow-up
  • Background in home health care billing
  • Proficiency with Epic software
  • Understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, HMO, and managed care
  • Preferred experience with Dorothy software
