Patient Care Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Care Representative to join our team at Firelands Scientific / The Landing Dispensaries. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Assist patients in selecting appropriate medical cannabis products for their needs, providing expert guidance and support.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of our product offerings, including strains, dosages, and methods of consumption.
- Help patients navigate our store, ensuring a seamless and informative experience.
- Verify patient paperwork, documentation, and ID, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Accurately use and maintain our Point of Sale (POS) system, as well as our state's electronic verification system.
- Assist with order deliveries, verifying accuracy and ensuring timely completion.
- Participate in maintaining a clean and organized store environment, adhering to safety protocols and security measures.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure smooth retail store operations, addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Recent and relevant hospitality and/or retail experience required.
- Excellent patient experience skills, with the ability to listen well and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge and adherence to our policies, procedures, and goals.
- Ability to learn and understand cannabinoids and the natural function of the endocannabinoid system.
- Ability to work effectively with employees, management, patients, and the general public.
- Understanding of applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
This role is similar to a retail pharmacy, with frequent internal and external interaction. You will be required to stand and move for 2-3 hours at a time, with long periods of prolonged sitting and standing. You must have normal range of hearing and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer.
