Your Role: As a Licensed Mortgage Professional (LMP), you will be instrumental in generating new business, structuring and finalizing loans, and providing ongoing support to an existing client base. You will guide clients through the loan process, ensuring clear communication and understanding of their financing options. This role also involves representing Homeowners Financial Group in the community through active participation in local events and marketing initiatives. An active Mortgage Originator License through NMLS is required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Actively seek out new residential mortgage opportunities and promote HFG's loan products to achieve set goals.
  • Build and maintain a robust network of professional relationships to generate referrals.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries and convert leads into appointments.
  • Conduct thorough interviews with potential borrowers to assess their financial situation and financing goals.
  • Manage the loan process from application to closing, ensuring all parties are informed and engaged.
  • Gather necessary documentation and fees from clients.
  • Negotiate loan terms and present them for approval.
  • Stay informed about lending programs, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and adhere to ethical standards in all interactions.
  • Provide regular updates on production goals and participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of experience in loan origination, particularly with FHA and conventional loans.
  • Active Mortgage Originator License through NMLS in all states of operation.
  • Strong sales skills and customer service orientation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and mortgage origination software.
Work Environment:

This position may require lifting light objects and involves a mix of sitting, standing, and walking in a standard office setting.

Compensation:

Base salary plus commission.
