About Fortuna Aggregates - Fortuna Aggregates is a family-operated supplier of aggregates and a mobile custom crushing and screening service provider. Our commitment to our workforce and equipment has established us as a frontrunner in the concrete crushing sector throughout Northeast Ohio.

This role requires a commitment of 40+ hours per week, including opportunities for overtime. We ensure job stability with no seasonal layoffs.

Applicants must have experience operating heavy machinery, specifically a CAT 980K and 982 front-end wheel loader.

The ideal candidate will possess prior experience in operating large wheel loaders and overseeing stone sales, along with the capability to perform manual labor when necessary. Candidates should be able to:

  • Complete and manage sale documentation.
  • Load incoming trucks with aggregate materials efficiently.
  • Operate large front-end wheel loaders (CAT 980K and 982M) competently.
  • Demonstrate legible handwriting.
  • Exhibit reliability and punctuality in attendance.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Sales Manager regarding incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machinery (greasing, fueling, etc.).
  • Evaluate incoming raw materials for quality.
  • Load a screener as required.
  • Communicate effectively with company Foremen.
  • Experience with forklifts and skid steers is advantageous.
  • Possess basic computer skills; experience with POS systems is a plus.
  • A mechanical background is beneficial.
  • Welding skills are an added advantage.
  • Hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable transportation.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Be willing to travel to job sites, which may be up to an hour and a half from our main location.
