Job Overview

The Vallejo Company is a growing construction company seeking skilled professionals to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will play a critical role in servicing the Ohio area with expertise in gas, water/sewer, concrete/asphalt, and boring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
  • Ability to operate equipment for mainline gas and gas service connections.
  • Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
  • Ensure company equipment, material, and work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored in a safe manner.
  • Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
Core Skillsets

CDL Class A is highly encouraged, but not required.

Knowledge of gas line work is beneficial, especially with required OQ's.

Ability to meet physical requirements to operate heavy machinery.
