Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role requires travel throughout the U.S. in support of operations in geographically remote locations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform hydraulic repair and plumbing in support of specialty drilling and ancillary equipment.
- Perform MIG welding of mild steel and alloys.
- Meet agreed-upon goals and objectives in a timely manner.
- Perform routine service, maintenance, and repair to equipment.
- Perform other shop duties assigned by supervisor.
- Read dial calipers and indicators.
- Preferred minimum of 1 year fabrication experience in a professional shop setting.
- Must be proficient in GMAW and FCAW of mild steel, TIG/MIG of aluminum preferred.
- Must be able to consistently produce quality welds that are structural and aesthetically pleasing.
- Required experience in hydraulics.
- May be required to provide own hand tools and toolbox.
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $35.00/Hr. - USD $43.74/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.
