Job Title: Distribution Center Support Coordinator

Job Summary:

The primary responsibility of the Distribution Center Support Coordinator is to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution centers by providing proactive support to customers and internal teams. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactive Escalation Prevention: Identify and address potential issues before they become major problems, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers.
  • Customer Notification: Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of issues and prevent disruptions to our operations.
  • Reactive Customer Resolution: Work with customers to resolve issues and provide solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Document Management: Utilize BizHub to manage and track documents, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • DC Supplies Ordering/Management: Ensure the distribution center has sufficient supplies to operate efficiently and effectively.
  • DC Vendor Invoice Processing: Process vendor invoices in a timely manner to ensure accurate payment and compliance with company policies.
  • Customer Pick-Up Window Management: Manage customer pick-up windows to ensure efficient and effective operations.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Prior administrative experience, typing, and PC skills required.
  • Math aptitude necessary.

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:
  • Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk, hear, taste and/or smell; the employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to weather conditions prevalent at the time. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
  • Travel required: 0% of the time, travel throughout the geographic area within the assigned region and will require overnight stays. Travel to the Field Support Center and other destinations will be required.
