Job Summary
Sentara is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Williamsburg, Virginia. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. Your duties will include providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, completing department documentation, and maintaining all equipment to be clean and operational.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform CT and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician
- Provide patient and family education on CT procedures and results
- Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently
- Complete department documentation and maintain accurate records
- Maintain all equipment to be clean and operational
Requirements:
- Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
- ARRT or CNMT certification required
- Basic Life Support certification required
- Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two years of hire
