Job Summary

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at Sentara, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care by performing CT scans and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician. Your expertise will also involve providing patient and family education, operating equipment safely, and maintaining accurate department documentation. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining all equipment to be clean and operational, as well as ensuring adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Responsibilities

Perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician
Provide patient and family education
Operate equipment safely
Complete department documentation
Maintain all equipment to be clean and operational
Maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations

Qualifications

Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
ARRT or CNMT is required
Basic Life Support
Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire
