Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced RF Engineer to join our team at AHU Technologies Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF engineering, with a focus on Land Mobile Radio (LMR) and wireless communications system engineering, design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessments of technical and operational practices based on leading industry standards specific to the requested technology.
  • Plan, organize, and conduct research in areas such as new or existing products, science, social science, law, or business in support of an IT initiative.
  • Search sources such as reference works, literature, documents, newspapers, statistical records, and other sources of information.
  • Analyze information and statistical data to prepare reports and studies for use by professionals.

Requirements:

  • 11-15 years of experience as a SME in complex enterprise level projects.
  • Master's degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5 years of experience working in a PSAP.
  • 3 years of interoperable radio experience.
  • 3 years of Land Mobile Radio experience.
  • 3 years of radio network coverage and interference analysis experience.
  • 3 years of experience with RF engineering tools including Wizard and drive test tools.
  • 2 years of experience in developing fleet maps, code plugs, and programming radios for public safety.
  • 3 years of experience managing Motorola User Configuration Manager.
  • 3 years of experience in troubleshooting WS systems, including but not limited to cell, microwave, LMR, UHF, etc.
  • 3 years of experience with public safety infrastructure.
  • 3 years of experience with P25 radio network.
  • 3 years of experience and knowledge of public safety communications and interoperability.
  • 1 year of experience and knowledge with LTE and WIMax – Standard practices.
  • 3 years of experience and knowledge of PSAP operations.
  • 6 years of experience and knowledge of wireless communications - combination of theory and practice.
