Job Title: Hazardous Materials Customer Service Telephone Rep

UPS is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hazardous Materials Customer Service Telephone Rep. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to internal and external customers regarding hazardous materials/dangerous goods laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure external customers and UPSers are in compliance with hazardous materials/dangerous goods laws and regulations.
  • Field calls from external customers concerning proper guidelines for shipping dangerous goods.
  • Field calls from UPSers in the operation concerning proper guidelines for accepting, loading, and storing air, ground, domestic, and international dangerous goods.
  • Field calls from UPSers regarding dangerous goods documentation for flights.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service skills/experience
  • UPS operations knowledge
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
  • Prefer previous dangerous goods experience
