Job Summary

The Floor Supervisor plays a pivotal role in assisting and supporting the Store and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the store, encompassing personnel, product, merchandising, and visual functions, business processes, and results for the store. This position is responsible for assisting management with recruiting, training, and development of associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership and Development: Direct and motivate the store team to provide exceptional customer service, generate sales, and minimize losses while ensuring the store is visually distinctive and impeccably maintained.
  • Associate Development: Assist in the development of associates through feedback, coaching, and training, ensuring they possess the necessary skills to excel in their roles.
  • Operational Excellence: Maximize associate productivity, ensure compliance with company standards and policies, and create an environment that fosters results-driven performance.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures, and manage time and prioritize tasks efficiently.
Managerial Responsibilities
  • Sales and Customer Service: Maximize sales by ensuring the TH Customer Service program is executed to standard, and merchandise styles and sizes are well represented on the sales floor.
  • Training and Development: Assist with training, developing, and executing S.G.M. and TH Customer Service, ensuring associates are equipped to provide exceptional customer experiences.
  • Business Insights and Communication: Communicate statistical results and identify business needs, providing valuable insights to inform decision-making.
  • Team Engagement and Recognition: Communicate with team members at Take 5 meetings, discussing individual sales performance, and other key performance indicators to foster a culture of excellence and recognition.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Understand and comply with all company policy, procedures, and operations, ensuring accurate inventory management and minimizing losses.
  • Receiving and Processing: Receive and process shipments and transfers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Inventory Shrinkage Improvement: Follow the Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to minimize losses.
  • Store Maintenance and Security: Maintain the highest level of security and safety awareness within the store, ensuring a secure and safe environment for associates and customers.
Leadership Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition and Development: Work with store management to source the best talent through networking and recruitment, interviewing, hiring, and orientation processes.
  • Associate Development and Engagement: Assist in the development of all associates to be knowledgeable in areas of product and sales, communicating openly, honestly, and constructively.
  • Team Culture and Recognition: Create energy, excitement, and recognition around team and individual accomplishments and successes, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
Merchandising and Visual Responsibilities
  • Business Decision-Making: Assist in making business decisions based on current sell-through strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Visual Merchandising and Store Presentation: Maintain elevated store presentation by training and overseeing standards as defined by brand standards and company directives, with an eye for detail.
  • Merchandise and Visual Issues: Keep management informed of all merchandise and visual-related issues, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing disruptions.
