Bristow Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Helicopter Pilot to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating our aircraft in the Gulf of Mexico region.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned aircraft, adhering to Bristow operational standards and all applicable regulations.
- Customer Focus: Prioritize safety and customer service in all interactions, both within and outside the aircraft.
- Situational Awareness: Maintain awareness of weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state, and customer offshore facility status throughout the operational region.
- Logistics and Administration: Manage passenger movements, aircraft movements, briefings, and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook times.
- Aircraft Maintenance: Report all aircraft mechanical irregularities and ensure the aircraft is airworthy before, during, and after all flights.
- Communication and Representation: Facilitate communications with customers and ensure Bristow is represented in a professional manner.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Remain available for dispatch to other locations, including international assignments, as determined by business needs.
- Professional Development: Stay up-to-date on all Bristow operational and safety procedures.
- Meet the minimum requirements outlined by 14 CFR.
- Hold a 1st class medical certificate.
- Complete the position's screening questionnaire to determine eligibility for consideration.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized and able to work with a large and varied workload.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively within a team.
- Hold an FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate with a Helicopter Instrument rating.
- 1 year of experience in the offshore oil and gas industry.
- ATP.
- 1,500 hours of PIC helicopter experience.
- 100 hours of offshore experience.
- 100 hours of experience within the preceding 12 months.
