Position Overview:
This role involves the oversight, evaluation, and analysis of programs and policies related to the Department of the Navy's (DON) Critical Infrastructure and Mission Assurance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess the cyber resilience of control systems, ensuring alignment with policy requirements.
- Conduct utility and cyber evaluations, focusing on condition assessments and standards for system efficiency and reliability.
- Engage in Mission Assurance program efforts to evaluate the coordination of critical infrastructure and energy security within the DON framework.

Technical Expertise:
- Provide advanced technical guidance and program analysis to stakeholders, assisting in the identification, prioritization, and justification of essential programming needs.

Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and suitable for federal employment.
- Required to participate in the direct deposit pay program and successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Candidates must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of the announcement.

Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector.
- Proven experience in interpreting policy and program requirements, developing program plans, and implementing corrective measures.
- Familiarity with critical infrastructure protection and mission assurance programs, including asset identification, vulnerability assessments, and contingency planning.

Additional Information:
- This position is subject to the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
- Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain security clearance and complete ethics orientation within the specified timeframe.
