Job Summary:

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist PRN works in the inpatient and/or outpatient setting performing a variety of CT Scan imaging procedures used to diagnose medical conditions.

You will operate the CT scan equipment to produce quality images for detecting pathology and abnormalities in patients. You will obtain consent, prepare patients, and explain the procedure to them. The patient population may range from newborn to geriatric.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scan equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Obtain consent and prepare patients for procedures
  • Explain procedures to patients and answer questions
  • Work with patients of all ages, from newborn to geriatric

Requirements:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification
  • State Registered Radiologic Technician or Registered Computerized Tomography Technician certification
