About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Bright Health. As an X-ray Technician, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal tissues and organ systems.
- Position patients correctly and adjust equipment to ensure accurate and safe imaging procedures.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate anxiety.
- Follow proper protocols to minimize radiation exposure and maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and inventory of radiology supplies.
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology or related field; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Current Radiologic Technologist license and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers.
- Minimum one year of experience as an X-ray technician in a medical setting, preferably in a hospital, urgent care, or diagnostics center.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
