Position Summary:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Game Operations Specialist. This role involves overseeing the preparation, execution, and dismantling of all athletic events at designated venues. The Game Operations Specialist will also be responsible for the accurate and efficient operation of the scoreboard during competitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare facilities for athletic contests.
  2. Set up and break down all events.
  3. Assist with various game management tasks.
  4. Operate the shot clock, game clock, or scoreboard during competitions.
  5. Demonstrate knowledge of high school game protocols.
  6. Collaborate with game officials, Athletic Communications staff, and Event Management personnel during events.
  7. Quickly observe and respond to developments in the athletic venue.
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. High School Diploma or GED.
  2. Availability for competitions throughout the year; a background or interest in athletics is preferred.
  3. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual labor.
  4. Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
  5. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  6. Excellent communication skills.
  7. Commitment to cultural awareness and respect for diverse perspectives.

Compensation:

This is a seasonal, part-time position with a pay rate of $25 per hour.
