Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with customers and addressing their inquiries regarding products.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of the products available in the store to assist customers effectively.
- Ensure a visible presence on the sales floor, greeting and assisting customers promptly.
- Efficiently process transactions at the register, handling various payment methods in accordance with company policies.
- Adhere to cash handling procedures to minimize discrepancies and losses.
- Follow regulations concerning restricted sales items and ensure compliance with all legal requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to foster a cooperative work environment.
- Report any pricing or product discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
- Stay informed about current promotions and seasonal offerings.
- Comply with food safety standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Participate in safety programs and report any unsafe conditions or incidents.
Qualifications:
- Ability to manage stressful situations effectively.
- Strong communication skills.
- Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, counting).
Preferred Experience:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Experience in a retail environment.
- Ability to communicate in a second language.
