Position Overview: We are in search of a meticulous and systematic Human Resources Administrator to assist in managing the increasing workload within our organization. The HR Administrator will be instrumental in facilitating various HR functions, ensuring efficient operations in recruitment, employee records management, compliance, and general HR administration. This role is well-suited for individuals with a solid administrative background who excel in a dynamic environment and are eager to contribute to a team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment Support:
- Utilize JazzHR for recruitment processes.
- Assist in job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication coordination.
- Maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all documentation is thorough and precise.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and orientation logistics.
- Employee Records Management:
- Utilize Zenefits/TriNet for managing employee records.
- Maintain and update both physical and electronic employee records.
- Process changes in employee status, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
- Ensure adherence to data protection regulations and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
- Benefits Administration:
- Support the management of employee benefits programs, including enrollments and terminations.
- Assist employees with inquiries regarding benefits and resolve issues.
- Collaborate with external vendors to effectively manage benefit plans.
- HR Policies and Compliance:
- Assist in the upkeep of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with current legislation.
- Support compliance initiatives related to employment laws and regulations.
- Help organize and participate in audits and investigations as necessary.
- HR Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare HR-related reports and metrics for management review.
- Analyze data trends to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency.
- General Administrative Support:
- Provide administrative assistance to the HR team, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining supplies.
- Assist in HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (1-3 years) in HR administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices.
- Proficiency with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and Google Apps for Business (especially Sheets and Docs).
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges.
- Adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
- Commitment to maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- This position is based in Phoenix, AZ.
- Occasional remote work may be permissible with the right candidate.
- Regular business hours.
- Paid as a 1099 Contractor
- Hourly Rate is $25-30/hr
- Estimated 10-15 hours per week as a baseline
