Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled automation engineer to join our team in a highly automated factory setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting and optimizing automated systems to minimize losses and improve overall efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct real-time data analysis to identify and correct automated equipment faults.
  • Collaborate with maintenance leads and departmental staff to resolve system faults and errors.
  • Develop and implement countermeasures to address issues through data analysis and root cause analysis tools.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on departmental KPIs.
  • Maintain a schedule for interdepartmental meetings to discuss machine loss mitigation.
Requirements
  • Minimum age: 18 years old.
  • A technical degree or certification in automated systems maintenance, or equivalent experience.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to travel, with reasonable prior notice, as required.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and basic understanding of industrial automated systems.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering or technology discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive or technology.
  • Knowledge of production control, supply chain, or material handling systems and procedures.
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving ownership and proficiency.
Working Conditions
  • Ability to sit, walk, and stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a potentially dusty and chemical environment.
  • Ability to wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
