Medication Technician and Resident Assistant

SilverPoint Senior Living is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medication Technician and Resident Assistant to join our team at our Duncanville, TX community. As a Medication Technician and Resident Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Ensure accurate and timely administration of medications, maintaining up-to-date documentation and adhering to state regulations.
- Personal Care: Provide exceptional personal care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with physicians, healthcare providers, and family members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Medication Room Management: Maintain a well-stocked medication room, ensuring all required medications are available and easily accessible.
- Engagement and Socialization: Engage residents in activities and social interactions, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized environment, adhering to infection control and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Accurately document resident care, including medication administration, vital signs, and other relevant information.
- Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a genuine concern for the well-being and dignity of our residents.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
- Reliability and Flexibility: Possess a reliable transportation method and be available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
