Sanitation Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sanitation Supervisor to join our team at Jobot. As a Sanitation Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sanitation program to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including HACCP and PCQI.
  • Train and supervise sanitation staff on proper cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and waste management.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facility.
  • Manage the use and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure sanitation standards are met across all areas of the facility.
  • Investigate and resolve any sanitation-related issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all sanitation activities.
  • Ensure all waste is disposed of according to company policies and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a sanitation department in the food manufacturing industry.
  • HACCP Certification and PCQI Certified.
  • Extensive knowledge of cleaning procedures, chemical handling, and waste management.
  • A solid understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Exceptional supervisory skills with a proven ability to train and motivate staff.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using computer software including Microsoft Office Suite.
