Our client, a leader in the engineering sector, is in search of an Asset Management Maintenance Expert to enhance their team. As an Asset Management Maintenance Expert, you will contribute to the Engineering Department supporting various Operational Teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong collaborative skills, problem-solving abilities, and analytical thinking that will integrate seamlessly within the organization.


Position Overview:
Accountable for initiatives across all facets of Asset Management, encompassing Maintenance and Work Processes, Mechanical Integrity, and Mechanical Reliability.

This position emphasizes the enhancement of standards for global Asset Management Programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage knowledge of industry best practices to act as a program leader and perpetually enhance the Asset Management Program.
  • Address all Mechanical Integrity inquiries and apply technical expertise to support plant inspection activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Maintenance teams to ensure effective Predictive and Preventative Maintenance programs.
  • Work alongside Corporate and Plant HSES teams to guarantee compliance with local and federal regulations regarding Mechanical Integrity.
  • Ensure seamless integration of all PSM requirements into the Mechanical Integrity Program.
  • Serve as the corporate liaison between Engineering and Maintenance groups on all Asset Management matters.
  • Develop maintenance standards and procedures with relevant KPIs to ensure program effectiveness.
  • Communicate Asset Management Program objectives, drivers, and summaries to various stakeholders to provide updates and secure support.
  • Provide technical assistance and fulfill business process owner responsibilities for Mechanical Integrity software and SAP Plant Maintenance module.
  • Conduct detailed design calculations and sizing for capital project mechanical scope items.
  • Review and approve drawings for all fabricated equipment to ensure compliance with industry and internal standards.
  • Support the on-site mechanical integrity team by reviewing, modifying, and approving repair plans for fixed equipment and piping.

Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Proven working knowledge of inspection procedures, maintenance, and reliability within the chemical/manufacturing sector, typically acquired through 8 or more years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in developing standard work processes.
  • In-depth knowledge of ASME Section VIII, API 570, 650, 653 industry codes.
  • Strong understanding of Mechanical Integrity and OSHA PSM requirements.
  • Experience with SAP Maintenance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in root cause analysis, failure mode effects, and asset criticality assessment.
  • Experience with Maintenance Turnarounds.
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining effective Mechanical Integrity programs.

Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Self-motivated with strong influencing, negotiating, and diplomacy skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
