Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver High-Quality Climbing Instruction
    • Explain and demonstrate correct usage of climbing equipment and facility features
    • Monitor climbing area to ensure safety procedures are adhered to by climbers and spectators
  • Lead Climbing Classes and Events
    • Assist with leading rock climbing classes, events, and Open Wall
  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Climbing Environment
    • Maintain the cleanliness of the climbing area
    • Maintain member files and waiver forms

Requirements

  • Education and Certifications
    • High School Degree or Equivalent
    • First Aid certification, Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification required within the first 60 days of hire
  • Physical Demands
    • Ability to occasionally scale climbing wall structure
    • Ability to routinely and repetitively bend to lift more than 20 lbs
  • Preferred Qualifications
    • 6 months to 1 year of climbing experience
    • Belay certification

Compensation and Benefits

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $15.00 and pays up to $18.75, based on experience and qualifications. Life Time Fitness is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to creating an inclusive and diverse workplace.
