Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aquatics Swim Instructor to join our team at Life Time. As an Aquatics Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching swimming lessons and Aquatics events to members of all ages and skill levels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Instruct swimming lessons and Aquatics events to members of all ages and skill levels
  • Respond to member inquiries, comments, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and organized pool area at all times
  • Promote and sell all Aquatics programs and services to members

Requirements

  • Working towards a High School Diploma or GED
  • CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard Certifications (obtained within 60 days of hire)
  • Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services
  • Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
  • Ability to routinely lift more than 20 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

  • Swim lesson instruction or coaching experience

Compensation

This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and paying up to $20.00, based on experience and qualifications.
