Job Overview

This position focuses on providing applications support and responding to inbound inquiries via phone and email from customers, representatives, and consulting engineers in a friendly and technically proficient manner. Additionally, the Inside Sales Specialist will proactively reach out to customers to address technical inquiries related to orders, quotes, and specifications. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment. This role is ideal for a service-oriented individual who enjoys assisting customers and engineers in overcoming their measurement challenges. The Inside Sales Specialist will collaborate closely with the sales team.


Key Responsibilities
Primary duties include, but are not limited to:

• Responding to incoming inquiries through phone, live chat, and email

• Addressing customer questions, providing quotations, and advancing opportunities through the sales pipeline

• Achieving or surpassing designated sales targets

• Managing a diverse product portfolio

• Collaborating directly with customers on sales inquiries to review specifications and recommend products

• Working in tandem with the outside sales team and our channel partners

• Partnering with outside sales engineers to jointly enhance the sales funnel for our flow product offerings

• Actively pursuing new business through customer outreach and following up on leads generated by marketing

• Potentially taking on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management

Position Requirements

• Previous experience in customer service is advantageous

• Familiarity with inside sales or service of electro-mechanical products is preferred

• Strong multitasking abilities are essential

• Minimal travel may be required for training and customer visits

Preferred Qualifications:

• A technical degree (2-4 years) or equivalent experience in a technical field
