Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to inmates/residents, executing physician orders, and assisting with medical procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic nursing duties, including execution of physician orders and operation of pill call
  • Assist with medical procedures, including examinations and treatments
  • Apply appropriate nursing skills in the care and treatment of inmates/residents
  • Attend sick call with the physician and prepare a list of inmates/residents to be examined
  • Document and report activities in accordance with established policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an approved school of nursing with a certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Must be licensed in the state of employment
  • A valid driver's license is required
