Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our Site Development team in our Houston office. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing preliminary analysis on various technical tasks, making independent decisions about assigned areas of responsibility, and developing, evaluating, and designing specifications and contract drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of preliminary analysis on technical tasks
- Independent decision-making on assigned areas of responsibility
- Development, evaluation, and design of specifications and contract drawings
- Survey, design file, and temporary sheet management
- Basic calculations and project deliverable scheduling
- Data collection, organization, and evaluation
- Project material and reference organization and filing
- Analysis of systems using computer modeling
- Vehicle tracking, utility flowlines, and pipe conflicts management
- Public plan completion, including water, storm, and wastewater plans
- Pavement design, including geotechnical report and paving details
- Sidewalk design
- Public plan signatures and TxDOT driveway permit management
- FEMA floodplain information and FIS profiles management
- Sheet design, including SWPPP, SWQMP, TCP, and utility plan
- Works closely with project and task team leaders
- Maintains regular and prompt attendance at WGA Houston office
Requirements:
- Civil Engineering degree and 2+ years of experience
- Registered Texas E.I.T.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
