Senior Right-of-Way Specialist in Kentucky

Gray Hawk Land Solutions is seeking to fill the role of Senior Right-of-Way Specialist in Kentucky. The ideal candidates will be proactive individuals capable of executing the following responsibilities with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities- Build and sustain positive relationships with landowners and local governmental representatives.
- Exhibit professionalism and integrity while representing both the client and oneself, effectively engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds and defusing high-pressure situations.
- Negotiate terms for land agreements, encompassing surface use contracts, pipeline rights of way, and easements. Address surface damage claims and facilitate necessary access to company resources.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of land use agreements, easements, pipeline rights of way, land titles, and relevant governmental regulations pertaining to right-of-way operations.
- Conduct both internal and external title research independently, including courthouse investigations.
- Utilize mapping software (such as GIS and Google Earth) and demonstrate the ability to plot deeds and adapt to any proprietary client mapping systems.
- Interpret technical drawings and make necessary adjustments (including alignment drawings, certified property plats, permit drawings, temporary workspace drawings, and construction access drawings).
- Navigate various client databases efficiently.
- Perform online research effectively.
- Exhibit strong computer skills through proficient use of software, including Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and database management.
- Collaborate effectively within a team or work independently.
- Experience with geoAMPS or Pandell Projects and ESRI GIS software is advantageous.
- A minimum of five (5) years of experience in the right-of-way sector.
- A Bachelor's Degree, Technical Diploma, or a High School diploma.
This position offers a competitive pay structure, with a six-day work week and a daily per diem of $166 for seven days. Comprehensive health, vision, and dental benefits are included.
