About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant General Manager to join our team at Louie Louie, a French-inspired American bistro in the heart of University City in Philadelphia. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, leading a high-performing team, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of 50-75 staff members in a high-volume setting
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to drive sales growth and improve efficiency
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to achieve business objectives and goals
  • Provide exceptional guest service and ensure a positive dining experience
  • Manage inventory, scheduling, and purchasing to optimize profitability
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to achieve high levels of performance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Manage conflicts and resolve issues in a fair and professional manner
Requirements
  • 3+ years of restaurant experience in a high-volume, excellence-driven environment
  • Extensive service knowledge and experience training staff
  • Excellent work ethic and dedication to the hospitality industry
  • Ability to work full-time hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Conflict resolution and special event execution skills
  • Wine, beer, and spirit knowledge preferred
  • Food Safety Knowledge and ServSafe Food Handlers license required
