Position Overview:
The Sales Associate plays a vital role in enhancing the customer experience through exceptional service and operational support. This position is essential in promoting Filson's renowned products while adhering to high visual merchandising standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a personalized client portfolio.
  • Deliver a premium shopping experience to all customers.
  • Meet and exceed daily and weekly sales targets.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Filson's product offerings.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure visual merchandising aligns with company standards.
  • Restock and organize merchandise on the sales floor.
  • Uphold the store's appearance to meet Filson's standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a customer service role is preferred.
  • Outgoing personality with a strong service orientation.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Dedicated to providing superior service.
  • Energetic, reliable, and a collaborative team player.
  • Skills in merchandising and visual presentation.
  • Results-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Basic math skills; experience with cash registers is advantageous.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
  • Reach overhead and pull items from shelves.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, or stoop as needed.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly Compensation: Starting at $15.95 per hour, negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
  • Bonus Opportunities: Potential monthly bonuses based on store performance and employee referral bonuses.
  • Paid Time Off: Includes 10 corporate holidays, accrued vacation days, and 2 volunteer days for eligible employees.
