Job Description

We are a company of skilled craftsmen dedicated to building quality footwear products. Our team is passionate about providing legendary customer service and creating a positive work environment. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a key role in achieving personal and team-oriented sales goals. The store environment is fast-paced and high energy, and you'll get to move with it. In a single day, you will interact with customers, work the register, build a display or stock the shelves.

Danner's commitment to building quality footwear products is well-known in the industry. We are looking for brand advocates whose passion will inspire both old and new generations of Danner brand loyalists. As a Danner Sales Associate, you will help your team deliver the most personal, memorable, and knowledgeable service possible to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greets customers in a timely, professional, and engaging manner.
  • Provides honest and confident feedback to customers regarding merchandise style and fit.
  • Consistently seeks new product knowledge to act as an expert for the customer.
  • Sets and achieves personal sales goals while supporting the goals of the team.
  • Works as a team player to ensure each customer receives the best service possible.
  • Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the Danner culture in all actions and words.
  • Ensures that stock is replenished and displays are neat and rotated to encourage sales.
  • Assists with backroom projects and assignments as requested.
  • Tracks and achieves expected KPI metrics at individual and store level.
  • Ensures all workspaces are clean and tidy.
  • Performs opening and closing duties as requested.

Requirements:

  • A natural passion for serving others and creating customer loyalty.
  • Strong customer empathy and the ability to turn negativity into great customer experiences.
  • Ability to quickly learn new procedures and processes and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be willing to conduct oneself in accordance with Company's Core Values.
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of ownership, dependability, and initiative with flexible shift availability for the retail environment.
  • Must be able to climb a ladder and maneuver in a tight stockroom.
