About the Position
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching graduate-level courses in the Master of Arts in Economics program, which is offered fully online. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of economic principles and theories, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in their careers.
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate-level courses in economics, including Microeconomic Theory, Econometrics, Experimental Economics, and Math Economics.
- Develop and implement course materials, including textbooks and other resources.
- Maintain consistent communication with students throughout the course session.
- Meet with students individually or as a class to assist with course material.
- Implement assessment instruments, such as problem sets, quizzes, and exams.
- Collaborate with the Department's Graduate Studies Office to ensure a smooth course experience.
- Enter final course grades in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in economics.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred.
