Job Overview

Murray Resources is seeking a Material Handling Specialist to join our dynamic team in a well-regarded manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the assembly of finished products and goods tailored for customer requests. Position Type: Temp-to-Hire

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate various packaging machinery, including box erectors and label applicators.
  • Transport packaging materials and finished products using hand trucks, forklifts, or other material handling devices, following all safety protocols.
  • Prepare containers with blended products for customer orders.
  • Assist in inventory counting and management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ensure all quality standards are met by verifying product quantity and quality prior to storage.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing or packaging setting
  • Proficient in operating forklifts and reach trucks
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Skills:
    • Basic computer skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a team
    • Strong organizational capabilities
    • Flexibility to work any shift
    • Capability to lift up to 50 lbs as part of job functions
    • Must achieve satisfactory results on pre-employment assessments
