JOB SUMMARY

As an Intermediate Automotive Technician, you will perform essential preventive maintenance and repairs on AMR vehicles. This role requires a minimum of two years of experience in automotive or truck mechanics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Execute mechanical and electrical repairs in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Respond promptly to vehicle breakdowns in the field as needed.
- Collaborate with fellow technicians to enhance operational efficiency.
- Operate company vehicles safely and in compliance with company policies.
- Complete all necessary documentation accurately and punctually.
- Utilize the maintenance database to log all completed tasks and assignments.
- Attend mandatory training sessions related to fleet operations.
- Undertake additional duties as assigned by the shop foreman or lead mechanic.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including information systems security protocols.

Principal Accountabilities:
- Ensure vehicles are repaired and maintained effectively and timely.
- Diagnose and repair vehicles during roadside assistance situations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and neatly.
- Keep track of all parts and materials used.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with all personnel and external contacts.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Licensing/Certification:
- Valid driver's license required.
- High school diploma or equivalent education necessary.
- Minimum of two years of verifiable experience as a Line Mechanic or Mechanic Helper/Associate.
- At least two ASE or equivalent certifications (preferably in Brake and Steering/Suspension).
- MACS AC Certification or equivalent ASE Certification.
- Two consecutive satisfactory yearly performance evaluations.

Experience:
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
- Proficient in reading, interpreting, and following instructions from various documents and repair manuals.
- Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
- Basic automotive knowledge and skills required for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
