About the Role:
We are a highly specialized internal medicine and oncology practice with three locations in central Maryland. Our team of experienced veterinary specialists and technicians work together to provide exceptional care to patients with chronic conditions such as Addison's disease, Cushing's disease, gastrointestinal issues, renal failure, and cancer.
Responsibilities:
- Phlebotomy, IV catheter placement, IM/SQ/IV injections, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Providing exceptional client and patient care, and client education.
- Assisting with advanced nursing and hospitalization techniques.
- Running in-house lab work.
- Maintaining hospital cleanliness.
- Providing safe and low-stress pet restraint.
Requirements:
- Technology and computer competence.
- Credentialed/Registered Veterinary Technician - preferred but not required.
- 2 years experience as a Veterinary Technician - required.
- Phlebotomy - required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
